My baby boy Marcus Sebastian @ 10 days old

Leading to the day when my baby is due to come out, I was preparing his nursery and his clothes to wear but this boy decided to make his appearance a week early. My emotions were everywhere. Excited, scared, nervous, happy, scared then back to being happy again (sounds crazy right?) But when my Ob Gyn decided to do an emergency c-section after 6 hours of labor, I knew in 45 minutes I’d be meeting him already. Seconds and minutes went by… I heard him cry for the first time and my heart skips a beat one thousand times faster . I met my little boy, healthy and beautiful and I tell you he’s got a really good set of lungs! It was amazing, the best thing that’s ever happened to me! God is good. He blessed me with this cute healthy little man and Im thankful more than ever in my life.

Thought I’ll share this photo of me and him meeting for the first time. This photo is PRICELESS.

Since being sore from my major operation, I couldn’t take as much photos as I wanted but I managed to get up the bed and take photos of him as I would regret it forever if I didn’t. Thankfully my mother stayed with me for a month and she was a big help with the photo shoot. So here are a few that I took. Can’t wait to frame them up.

Maternity Photoshoot

If you haven’t noticed yet my recurring theme in my blog is the circle of life, from engagement to wedding to maternity and to new-born posts. My interest varies according to what is happening in my life. So, since I am now having a baby of my own, I thought of doing a maternity shoot for my beautiful preggy buddy, Lixi. I enjoyed doing this session with her as she and her cute little bump translates very well on the photos and I’m very happy with the outcome. Have a look and you will see what i mean…. blog 3 blog2 blog1

Danica & Dominic @ five days old

I was over the moon the day when my sis-in-law texted me and told me they’re having twins! For one, my brother has a twin sister and now he’s having his own set of twins! That is just incredible! Truly a blessing from above. I was the happiest aunt when they were born on the 8th of January. It’s beyond words how cute and how adorable these babies are!  I couldn’t help but embrace them as much as I could, snuggle them when I get the chance and watch them smile as I cradle them to sleep. I love them already like my own. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to photo shoot them days after they got home from the hospital. Enjoy viewing the photos!

Xavier Robert @ 1month old

I cannot even begin to tell you how handsome and adorable this baby is who just so happens to be my nephew!  Xavier was just one month old when I took these photos of him. I haven’t done newborn photos in the past as I know I how fragile and temperamental babies are at this age making it hard to work with them.  But Xavier was such a sport!  He was just loving the attention and loved being in front of the camera. Rest assured that this boy will have heaps of snapshots from me as he grows old… I hope you enjoy looking at the photos as we did taking them.

Yvonne + Justin Engagement Session at Brighton Beach

What is Love?

Love has so many different meanings by many. But to me Love means when you see that one person and you instantly know that there is a connection underlying all those curiosities. When you can chat all day and night talking about just anything. When you can be yourself and s/he accepts who you are plus your flaws then you found the one great love of your life.

There is no denying that Yvonne and Justin have that in them. A beautiful couple from Singapore flew in to Melbourne to celebrate their engagement. I feel so privileged to be able to do this session with them and witness their love for each other. I hope you enjoy viewing the photos as much I have enjoyed doing their engagement session.

Autumn in Daylesford

What’s a perfect way to spend your weekend? Attending a wedding, coffee with your best mates, a visit to The Lakehouse or a massage from Hepburn Springs? I’d say all of the above. Friday the 20th of April, off we went to Daylesford for the much awaited wedding of the year… My sister-in-law’s wedding, Mary Rose. All of the family gathered together to help out with the wedding plans which the bride herself organized. With the much anticipated wedding the following day, all of us were busy talking, planning and of course eating, the most enjoyable part of the day. Good food and good conversation altogether. So the day came, and I saw the bride walk down the aisle and oh my… she was the most beautiful bride! She’s shining from within, and her eyes and smile were glowing like a princess. These photos below are only the candid shots we took of her and the groom and some were taken before and after the wedding. Enjoy viewing the photos.
